OPSCO’s team of dedicated project management, procurement and material professionals ensures the end-user’s supply chain and technical teams receive a product that matches the standards outlined in the project development stage. Our team of structural, process and mechanical engineers fully support and integrate with EPCM companies to provider a fabricator centric viewpoint. Together, we identify opportunities for efficiencies to balance quality, cost, and schedule.

Located just outside Calgary’s city limits with easy access to high load corridors, OPSCO has over 55 years of modularized process equipment and heavy vessel experience. Our facilities include:

64,000 sq/ft of shop space including a Main Process Equipment Shop, Dedicated Stainless Shop and an Integrated blast/paint shop

246 tons of lifting capacity with maximum size packages 25’ wide, 145’long, and a 32’ under hook height

Rail system to move large modules and vessels (~240,000 lbs) between Main Process Equipment Shop and separate blast/paint shop

Carbon, low temp carbon, and stainless-steel welding procedures

Full suite of necessary tools and equipment, which includes vessel rollers, loaders, testing devices, trailer, vehicles, threading machines, and others.  Prior to use, all equipment must be inspected and signed for by qualified operators.
